The women’s ministry at Westwind exists to help women love God, love others, and make disciples. We do this through Bible studies, book clubs, events, and a mentoring program.
We believe that as we draw together as women to seek the Lord, the Lord will begin to change us to be more and more like Him. As we learn to reflect God’s love and grace, our families, our neighborhoods, and our communities will be radically changed for Christ.
Joining a women’s Bible study can be a life-changing decision. We launch women’s Bible studies every fall, winter, and summer. Watch for announcements letting you know when and where they will be.
Because Westwind is a mobile church, we have a unique opportunity for our people to serve. Every week we set up and tear down our Church at Waukee South Middle School. We value generous participation and believe the opportunities in serving are a great way to get to know others and deepen our relationships while accomplishing the work of the church. Titus 2 tells us to continually be teaching and training women in the faith. This mentoring ministry is an opportunity to step into a one on one intentional relationship designed to push you closer to God. As women are paired into mentoring relationships, they make goals, hold each other accountable, pray for each other, and live out Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. Contact us if you are interested in being a part of this ministry.
