MISSIONAL LIFESTYLE

Because God lives missionally Westwind Church embraces the mandate to go into all the world with the Gospel.  In Genesis 12, God chooses Abram to bless the nations through Christ.  Luke 19:10 summarizes the missionary heart of Christ when he said, “The Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.”  

The capstone of Christ’s heart for the nations is found in Acts 1:8 where we read “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.“  

The inspiration for participation comes from Revelation 5:9 where the scene is in heaven and a new song is being sung in worship of Jesus stating, “You purchased people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation” (Genesis 12:1-3; Acts 1:8; Philippians 1:3-6).
