What DOES BEING A MEMBER MEAN?

Becoming a Member at Westwind is a commitment to identifing yourself with Christ in the local church, submission to the Christ-like leadership of our Elders, and full participation in the ongoing ministry.  We also believe Membership is both a privilege and a responsibility. 

MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBLITIES AND PRIVILEGES:

Our Members embrace our mission to HELPING PEOPLE TAKE THEIR NEXT STEP WITH JESUS. Members live generously with their time, treasure, talent, and touch. They also embrace and declare our core beliefs. Commit to being an active part of our celebration and worship services on Sunday mornings, which includes serving the Lord. Commit to community by engaging in life on life environments. We call these smaller communities Life Groups. Through these groups we gather and then serve our church and the community.

HOW DO I BECOME AN MEMBER?

Participate and complete The Journey, a course designed to discover how God has “SHAPED” you for Kingdom service. Indicate a desire for membership on The Journey Action Plan. Our admin will record your membership at Westwind.
