Single Parent Provision Gift Wrapping Party

We are partnering with Single Parent Provision as they prepare for their Single Moms Christmas Dinner at Home Edition. They are preparing to serve 1,100 single moms and 1,600 children this year and we get to be a part by purchasing and wrapping gifts to give to these children.

Before November 20, please purchase a $10-$12 gift for a child in one of these age groups — 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade or 9th-12th grade to bring with you to our Gift Wrapping Party. Ideally each 4th and 5th grader will bring one gift each and if you want to bring more, then that is great too. Also, please bring enough gift wrap and tape for your gift(s) and to wrap many others.

On November 20, join us as we have a fun time together, wrapping and praying over our special gifts as well as many that have been donated to SPP by others so that they are ready to be delivered to these children.

We value encouraging and engaging kids to grow and to serve with the Church. And what fun we have serving together as we give of our time and treasures to our community as they learn more about Christ’s love.

We would love for our 4th & 5th graders and their families to join us for our Family Serve event coming up on Thursday, August 13 from 6:30-8pm at the Dallas County Closet. We will be serving DCC behind-the-scenes, as a group, during their off-hours to help them continue to reach the needs of those in Dallas County.

4th & 5th Graders—we are going to be having a friendly competition in a Family Car Scavenger Hunt. So, come with a fully charged smartphone for pictures and be prepared to get your "for fun" game on. We will meet at the Westwind Church office at 6pm for instructions. Car snacks will be provided for you and your family.

4th & 5th graders and families--we are so excited to join together again for another serve night!​

On February 20th, from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Westwind Church Office, we will be packing up Blessing Bags for our ministry partners--Single Parent Provision. ​In preparation for our serve event, you and your family can also ​​​purchase items needed for the blessing bags.
